Before her rupaul’s drag race season 5 TV debut, Alyssa was a celebrated dance instructor and drag pageant star, winning titles such as Miss Gay America 2010 and Miss Gay USofA 2006.

Alyssa’s multifaceted career extends beyond television; she owns the Beyond Belief Dance Company in Mesquite, Texas, and starred in the 2018 Netflix docuseries Dancing Queen. In addition to her screen presence, Alyssa has performed several sold-out 5000+ seats live shows. she is the first drag performer to headline an original one woman show on London’s prestigious West end.
